The wintertime blues can be a real drag to deal with. Here in New England it’s getting cold, the bitter winds chap the skin, and my toes are chillier more often than not. It’s time for a warm bath that soothes the body and uplifts the soul. Try blending the following herbs in a muslin bag (so as to not clog the pipes) and sink into a bath.
- 3 parts Carnation (if available)
- 2 parts Lavender
- 2 parts Rosemary
- 2 parts Basil
Use when fatigued or depressed. Gives a lift, especially if you let the water cool slightly before bathing. To make it extra magickal visualize the water sparking with fiery droplets of energy that melt into your body and soul, lending you vitality and power.
