Life is Too Short to Ignore Love

Happy International LGBT+ Pride Day!!

Life is a whirlwind of experiences, fleeting moments that pass us by in the blink of an eye. In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it’s easy to get caught up in the mundane routines. In the chaos, there’s one thing that stands out, one thing that makes every heartbeat more vibrant, every breath more meaningful: love.

“Life is too short to ignore love.”

This simple yet profound quote encapsulates the essence of what it means to truly live. Love is the thread that weaves through the fabric of our existence, binding us together in a tapestry of emotions, memories, and connections. It’s the fuel that ignites our passions, the beacon that guides us through the darkest of times. Love is the reason why I do the work that I do, at the heart of it. My wife often calls me a “sapsicle,” and I would say that’s true.

I love this planet, and want to make it better. I love the power and strength of women and want all women to be heard. I want all women to believe in themselves. I want all women to be able to live her life in a way that makes her elated and happy to wake up every morning. I want all people to have the same opportunities, the same security, the same safety. In order to have this equity I believe that women need a boost, and that’s why I am here and committed to this work that I do.

Remember that self-love is just as important – if not more important than the love we share with other beings on this planet. Life is far too short to not work towards loving yourself with every breath that moves through your body, every beat of that beautiful heart of yours. Today I want you to try to love yourself just a little more. The way your smile lights up your face. The way you move through this world. The way the wind rustles around you, the way water feels when you drink it. All these little, infinite moments of magic that make up the whole map of you.

Be well, love you!
