If we haven’t talked in person, you might not be familiar with my “story” and why I decided to dedicate my life to helping others take control of their lives by gaining confidence, building healthy boundaries and totally kicking ass and taking names.
I suppose it started when I was a small child, growing up in an abusive household. I was emotionally disconnected – showing anything but anger got us labeled as weak.
It was a constant barrage of “just our luck.” Nothing ever good would happen to us, and if a good thing did happen then it was just a matter of time before Cruel Fate took it away.
I finally moved out of that situation and things started to get better. I worked on myself, overcame, and turned myself around. Now, I feel deeply. So, back in 2018 when I was in between jobs I started reading tarot on the psychic hotlines.
Yup, I was one of those readers where you could call or text chat in for 50 cents to a dollar a minute and learn more about yourself.
I always read as ethically as I could, and only gave what the cards actually said instead of what people wanted to hear (ultimately, that’s why that gig didn’t work out for me, but that’s for another blog post.)
My friends, as shady as a lot of those places were, they actually gave me purpose. That job is the reason why I decided to focus my coaching on Empowerment, on honing in on what needs to happen for people to feel empowered. It’s why I developed my coaching system, my Untamed Temple.
98% of those readings were from women/women-identifying people who were looking for love in all the wrong places.
Every single woman that I talked to *thought* that the situation she was in was all she was worth. Accepting her baby’s father back after he had cheated on her. The man she thought she loved that she saw on the bus every morning.
The stories go on and on.
Each and every one of these sad situations was because the woman on the other end of the chat box or phone line thought that that’s all she was worthy of. Every single story could have had a much different ending if she only healed from her traumas, had a little confidence boost, and boundaries in place.
THIS is what I teach my clients. We begin with healing, and what that looks like for you. We identify things to work through. We figure out who you want to be. We work on confidence. We work on boundaries. We work on changing your mindset so that you have the tools available to do whatever you want from deep within your soul.
Often, this also works through the lens of Paganism and Spell work, but doesn’t have to. I just have extra practice in this area after being a Pagan Witch for the past 16 years. If you are interested in working with me, please email me, or keep an eye on my site as I continue to add new offerings and content.
It’s really lovely to see you be inspired by this sort of work!
This post really spoke to me! Empowerment is such a vital part of living authentically, and I love how you broke down the importance of claiming our own power. Your insights are a great reminder that empowerment starts from within, and it’s something we all deserve to cultivate.
